Club Competition Rules (2018)
Games not played on or before the allotted date for each round of the competition will be given a date, which will be the first Wednesday after the allotted competition date. To start at 6-30pm.
Any team or player not turning up will automatically be disqualified regardless of weather etc., and the other team or player will go through automatically.
Substitutes can be used at any time, as long, as they have not previously entered or played in the competition. Singles games must be the original player entered.
Singles and Pairs
To be played with four bowls. Winner is the player/team with most shots.
It will be played over 18 ends in the rounds up to the semi-final and 21 ends in the final.
The singles game will be over seen by and umpire.
Two Wood Singles
Will be the best of five sets with six ends in each set. The winner of the toss for the jack will commence the game and the other player will start the next set and this will rotate set by set. At the end of the six ends the player with the most shots will have won that set and this will be the same in every set and the winner is the first player that wins three sets.
The singles game will be over seen by and umpire.
Triples
To be played with three bowls. Winner is the team with most shots. It will be played over 16 end up to the semi-final and 18 ends in the final.
