HCBC GREEN UPDATE ( FRIDAY 12 JULY)

MESSAGE FROM OUR MHCBC GREEN KEEPER

Friday.12 July: New heads fitted and tested on the watering system. The Control Unit checked and adjusted to new watering head setup .Issues identified in the cabling between the control unit and some of the watering heads, this will be fixed in week to come, the current system can be used manually.

Monday 15 July: Deep scarifying and seeding to be carried. Assuming it does not rain should be OK for Tuesday league matches and other club competitions during the week.Some photo of the “men at work”

MHCBC Captain’s Day held on Sat 6 July.

MHCBC Captain’s Day held at the Conny Club on Sat 6 July.

A good turn out on a a bit cooler and cloudy day . Many thanks to all those helped out behind the scenes in getting the player and arranging food etc. This was a triple player round robin format with 6 ends against all the other teams. The winning team was the one with highest total score.

£ 54 was raised for MHCBC Nominated Charity ( Air Ambulance)

MHCBC Green Closed due to persistent rain

The green is currently closed until further notice due to inclement weather conditions, updates will be posted on tgis website and the facebook pages as the situation becomes clearer.

The following games have been cancelled so far:

  • Tue 11 June Cons G Team Springer Cup Game ( to be reschedules for Wed 19 June)
