In the event of inclement weather OR conditions causing or likely to cause the abandonment of the game before 18 heads have been completed, both Captains may agree to the score counting as final after a minimum of 12 ends have been completed. BOTH Captains must agree on which end the match will terminate. Either Captain has the right to apply Rule 4.

IN THE EVENT OF THE ABOVE SITUATION OCCURING BOTH CAPTAINS MUST ACKNOWLEDGE WITH THEIR SIGNATURE, THE ACTUAL NUMBER OF ENDS COMPLETED IF LESS THAN 12 ENDS HAVE BEEN COMPLETED THEN RULE 4 (1) APPLIES.

Rule 3

All matches to be played during the mid-week, that is, Monday – Friday Inclusive as per the fixture list.

Rule 4

  1. When a match is stopped by mutual agreement on the account of darkness, condition of the weather, or any other valid reason, it shall be resumed with the scores, as they were when the match was stopped. It must be resumed on the same green with the same players playing in the same positions (there will be no substitute skips), unless otherwise agreed at the time of abandonment.
  2. An end not completed shall be declared null; likewise, dead ends shall not be replayed.
  3. In the event of a match being cancelled for any reason other than inclement weather, the teams involved must play the re-arranged fixture within 21 days of the original fixture. If the match is not played within that time span then neither team shall be allocated any points, and the match shall be deemed null and void, both teams will be fined (subject to the League Committees decision) the sum of £15.00 for each uncompleted fixture.

The only exception to this rule will be where rule 4 (4) applies.
